Dosiq is a colour system that saves formulas while you mix. Products, grams and proportions become part of the appointment history. At the next colour appointment, you can return to the previous mix and prepare the amount you actually need.
How it works
What does working with colour in Dosiq look like?
You mix the colour, Dosiq saves the formula
Choose products in the app and prepare the mix on a Bluetooth scale. Dosiq records the amount of each product as you weigh it. There is no need to reconstruct the formula from memory later.
Need more mix? Keep the same proportions
Need another 30 grams? Dosiq calculates the amounts of colour and developer while keeping the saved formula's proportions. You know how much of each product to add to the bowl.
Check how much mix you actually need
After colouring, record whether the prepared mix was enough or whether too much was left over. This information helps you better adjust product quantities for the next appointment.
Return to the previous formula at the next appointment
The colour history contains products, proportions and appointment notes. Recreate an earlier mix or adjust it when a different result is needed.
The whole team works from the same colour history
When another team member performs the service, they can use previous formulas and notes saved in the salon. Colour information does not stay in a private notebook or phone.
Less leftover colour
20 grams left after one colour service. What does that add up to in a month?
After one colour service, 20 grams of unused mix is left over. This is not much, but if it happens at 100 colour appointments in a month, 2 kg of product goes down the drain.

Do you know the cost of a particular colour service?
Two colour services at the same price can have very different product costs. One may use 60 g of mix and another 150 g. The difference is hard to spot without checking actual usage.
Dosiq shows the material cost of a particular service based on recorded quantities and product prices in the system.
This makes it easier to see which services use more materials and whether their pricing deserves another look.
